Potosi R-3 Needs Your Voice: Potosi R-3 could face an estimated $998,000 reduction in state funding if funding for Missouri public schools is not restored. At our starting teacher salary of $44,000, that amount equals approximately 23 starting teachers’ annual salaries. Potosi R-3 has joined fellow school districts in the Mineral Area Activities Association (MAAA) to share a joint message about the potential impact of state funding decisions on our students, schools, and communities.
