Potosi R-3 Needs Your Voice: Potosi R-3 could face an estimated $998,000 reduction in state funding if funding for Missouri public schools is not restored. At our starting teacher salary of $44,000, that amount equals approximately 23 starting teachers’ annual salaries. Potosi R-3 has joined fellow school districts in the Mineral Area Activities Association (MAAA) to share a joint message about the potential impact of state funding decisions on our students, schools, and communities. Your schools need you. Please read the joint letter below and contact our state legislators to ask them to support full funding for Missouri’s public schools. Your voice can help protect the programs, services, and opportunities our students deserve. Click This To View Letter.
